After extending our unbeaten run to fourteen games, and in such a spectacular manner, Posh boss Darren Ferguson, naturally, spoke about Batt`s goal.

Amongst the other topics he mentioned in his post match interview were, the poor performance, the refusal to give up and a few positive individual performances.

Here`s what he had to say,

‘It was a great strike from Shaun and to be fair to him he’s usually done very well when he’s gone on as a substitute.”

‘It wasn’t a good performance though. We struggled to get anything going, but you can’t knock our attitude which was first-class again.”

‘We won’t accept defeat and that’s the positive I will take from the game along with the performance of Andrew Crofts alongside Dean Keates.’

Let`s hope we can put on a classier display against Tranmere in the FA Cup this Saturday.
