So here we sit, two points collected out of a possible fifteen and a total blank drawn on transfer deadline day!

Many were, perhaps, expecting a late splurge by Darren Ferguson after our failure to win, so far, in the Championship, however Darren remained true to his word and has stuck with the squad he believes can turn our season around.

There`s no doubt that Darragh MacAnthony would have supported his manager if Darren had of decided to introduce a new face but the possibility is that it may well have turned out into a rash buy.

Transfer deadline day is littered with moves that, in reality, prove to be so unlikely, so false and so rash that both parties soon realise that the move is only a temporary resolution.

Posh will get those first three points, Posh will climb out of the danger area and when we do so we should look back at September 1st and recall just how brave Darren was in sticking to his guns, mark my words!
