With the dozen transfer listed players now reduced to eleven following the move that Liam Hatch made to Kenilworth Road, Barry Fry has urged the remaining eleven to get a move sorted out as soon as possible.

Naturally, some will be under the misguided impression that they may get another chance at London Road, seeing as some still have a year left on their contracts, but Fry is insistent they move on quickly remarking,

“Some of the lads might think that they will get an opportunity in the Championship if they hang around long enough, but in all fairness that is not going to happen.”

“The majority of the players we made available are young so I would encourage them to get out there and play football because that`s not going to happen here.

“It won`t do them any good being sat in the stand for a year.”

Short, brief but certainly to the point.
