After the Southend United full back declined to move to London Road, obviously lacking ambition, Mark Cooper has looked elsewhere.
In fact Mark has glanced toward the ‘Wenger Kingdom` a kingdom full of young pearls to satisfy his desires.
Mark is looking, to take on loan initially, the young Arsenal full back, Kerrea Gilbert.
Gilbert, in the last year of his contract at Arsenal, has been a Posh target before and Cooper believes he`d be a good acquisition, commenting,
‘It was disappointing to miss out on Simon, but Kerrea would be an excellent player for our squad.”
We`re informed that Gilbert has made three appearances for Arsenal this season and has previously enjoyed loan spells at Leicester (all last season), Cardiff and Southend.
