With Millwall following hard on the heels of Cheltenham, the two fixtures being played in the space of four games, there could have been a case for Darren Ferguson to rest a few players against the relegation fighting side.
But Darren is having none of it remarking,
‘We have a few players who have started to look a little leggy, but I don’t think I can take a chance with leaving anyone out with the Millwall match in mind.”
‘We have to make sure we beat Cheltenham. That’s our focus at the moment and after we have that one out of the way we can concentrate on Millwall.”
‘I can look after the players in training this week rather than leave them out of a match.’
So, it looks like we`re returning to the much vaunted and most welcome, one match at a time syndrome.
