Darren Ferguson has acted quickly to plug the gap left by the suspension of Joe Lewis.
Lewis, sent off in the Carling Cup defeat at Ewood Park, has signed Ben Amos, on loan, from Manchester United.
Amos will go straight into the squad to face Barnsley at London Road this weekend and Darren is quoted as saying on local radio,
“It`ll be a big game for him and he knows that. He`ll be fine.”
“He comes well recommended. My father thinks very highly of him.”
A word of advice Darren – next time ask your dad if we can borrow Johnny Evans, Michael Owen and a few others who are not regular starters.
