Yesterday we reported that Posh had put Micah Hyde on the transfer list.

The name of our club captain has been circulated to all FootballLeague clubs as being available for transfer in the January transfer window.

It`s a decision that hasn`t gone down too well with Micah who when asked about the situation explined exactly how he felt about matters, remarking,

‘It’s not my decision to leave. I’ve enjoyed it here and I still believe I have plenty to offer.”

‘I was paid to do a job at the club and I think I did well last season. The club were very successful and I was a part of it.”

‘Things changed in the summer as the manager told me I wouldn’t be involved in every game. I didn’t have a problem with that as it’s a squad game these days and it’s the manager’s job to pick the team.”

‘Like every professional I want to play all the time, but as a professional I would never rock the boat. I have no qualms with the manager at all and I have kept my head down and done my best all season.”

‘That will remain the case while I am here. I am disappointed to be on the transfer list and I was surprised that the news was made public in the way it was, but it won’t affect the job I will try and do for the club while I am here.’

I don`t suppose there`s a chance that some barn-storming performances from Micah could lead to a reversal of the decision is there?

I’d like him to stay until the end of the season! He’s still got a great touch and a good foootball brain, could be vital in the run in if we’re still up towards the top!
