With the ‘Fat Lady` preparing to clear her throat, Jim Gannon has some injury problems ahead of the clash with Newcastle United.

Knowing that a loss on Saturday and wins for relegation threatened Watford and Sheffield Wednesday will be enough to have us relegated after a brief occupancy of a Championship place, Gannon has some key figures out.

Definitely out are Aaron Mclean, Ryan Bennett and Chris Whelpdale, all of whom look set to miss the remainder of the season.

However, there is one ray of sunshine with our on-loan striker, Liam Dickinson, now back to full fitness after a three game period whereby a hamstring injury saw him sidelined.

Come on Posh, spring a surprise and beat Newcastle, for a second time this season, at London Road.
