The fact that it was simply mentioned in conversation has caused consternation amongst Posh fans.
The fact that we subsequently based our poll on the very same topic probably didn`t help but somebody had to do it.
So what are we talking about, we`re talking about the possibility of one of our star players being sold to finance the purchase of a couple of players to strengthen other areas.
Here`s what Darren Ferguson has told the local media, relating to the subject,
‘There has been a conversation about selling a player in order to buy others, but a conversation was all it was.
‘It is something we could consider in the future if things become desperate, but I don’t see our season going that way. It would have to be an absolute emergency for it to happen.”
One thing worries me, are we destined for an emergency in January?
