It`s never nice to see a Posh player in trouble with the law!

When the news filtered through that the Posh player, Paul Coutts, had been done for drink driving we feared that much would be made of it by the press.

Now we`re not trying to condone his actions, but we`d like ot use this article to show that Paul deeply regrets his actions and that his actions are not that of a role model.

After receiving a ban from driving and a substantial fine, Dean had this to say,

‘This morning I pleaded guilty to a charge of drink driving.”

‘In a moment of stupidity I decided to drive a short distance to my home whilst over the limit.”

‘The punishment handed out to me was fully justified and it will serve as a lesson to me and hopefully it will serve as a lesson to anyone else who is tempted to drive whilst over the legal limit.”

‘I am extremely grateful for all the support I have recieved and I am just concentrating on my football with Peterborough United and focussing all my efforts on helping this club secure promotion.’

Please don`t do as Paul did, instead heed hi swords, drink driving isn`t sensible, it kills!
