With relegation assured (if that`s the correct term for such a disappointment) Gary Johnson was hoping that he`d kick-start his reign as Peterborough manager with a win.

Sadly, it wasn`t to be. Despite a decent start whereby we were the better team, it was the same old story with mistakes and poor concentration costing us dearly.

After the game, Gary gave his first post-match interview remarking,

‘We performed well for the majority of the game but ended up paying the price for a loss of concentration when Leicester scored their second goal.”

‘I was trying to get the message across to the lads that they needed to be switched on so soon after scoring ourselves, but it obviously didn’t reach all of them.”

‘If you punch a good side like Leicester on the nose, there is every chance they will hit you straight back – and that is what happened.’

I wouldn`t be too worried Gary, this season is done and dusted and the remaining games are merely to give you a glimpse of what needs to be done this summer (a hell of a lot)!
