After suffering our twenty-fourth defeat of the season, in the Championship, things are looking bleak.

The threatened ‘Great Escape` has fizzled out and it now looks to be only a matter of time before the ‘Fat Lady` serenades us as we slip through the trapdoor back into League One.

No doubt there`ll be numerous comings and goings this summer and we suspect that our young keeper, Joe Lewis, could well be one of those to move on to higher pastures.

However, until that does happen, Joe is content to give his all for Peterborough but is under no illusions when it comes to the way our season is going to end when he remarks,

“It doesn`t look good – it`s not far from being a mathematical impossibility now.”

“But we have to stick at it and dig in. Throwing in the towel doesn`t look good on the club or the players.”

It doesn`t and although we`re doomed the odd win or two can still put a smile on our faces.
