A fixture against Leicester, top-dogs in our division, currently, is just the sort of thing to get a gremlin out of the system.

After his mistake last week that let that toad Lee Hughes score, Joe Lewis is sure to be in for a busy ninety minutes at the Walkers Stadium.

Lewis, who has seen his career change out of all recognition in the last twelve months, isn`t one to dwell on mistakes and ahead of the clash has spoken out about the game, remarking,

‘I made a mistake. It happens to everyone, but as a goalkeeper mine are magnified. That’s okay though as its part and parcel of being a goalkeeper.”

‘I know I have been playing well and it’s that mindset that I will take into tomorrow’s match. It’s one of the biggest matches of the season so we all have to be on top of our game.”

‘The lads were great after the match last week. We win and lose together and we don’t believe in apportioning blame.”

‘It’s a good attitude to have and one of the reasons why we’re doing so well this season why I expect another good result tomorrow.”

‘Leicester away is one of the fixtures I looked for at the start of the season. I sat on the bench there for Norwich once and it’s a great stage for a footballer so to be out there on the pitch should be inspiring.”

‘We’re all looking forward to playing and we’re confident we can get another good result.’

Here`s hoping Joe has a great game and his arms are raised aloft, in triumph, when that final whistle sounds.
