Posh – Lewis Run of Good Form Continues

For the second game on the trot, Joe Lewis has shown the kind of form that encouraged Darren Ferguson to splash out a club record transfer fee.

In the hard fought win at Edgar Street, against Hereford United, Joe stood firm in the face of adversity and enhanced his reputation as one of the best young keepers in the land, prompting the following accolade from Darren,

“Joe was magnificent for us and he allowed us to stand strong in a difficult game.”

“He has responded to all his criticism very well, but he`s a top class goalkeeper and he could be the key to us getting promoted.”

“We have big games coming up now.”

Here`s hoping that the recent run of fine form can be maintained by a keeper who was the butt of much criticism after a couple of howlers. Like Darren has said, it could be the difference between success and failure.
