After suffering the indignity of watching our proposed seaside trip, to Brighton, delayed for a week by a postponement, there are already fears we may all be scrambling around looking for something else to do this Saturday.
The, how shall we say, inclement weather has resulted in a pitch inspection being called, for London Road, for 13:00 hours on Friday.
Whilst we acknowledge the pitch is covered and the prospects remain good, unless there lies a real horror story underneath, it transpires our visitors have requested such actions to avoid a long and disappointing journey down from the Border region.
