Strikers are renowned for their cheek when it comes to claiming goals.

On Sunday, Craig Mackail-Smith scored a legitimate goal and saw a cross turned into his own net by the unfortunate Owusi.

However, in true striker style, Mackail-Smith wants to claim that as a second goal.

Speaking after the game the cheeky chap had this to say to the local media,

‘I will definitely be claiming a second goal because it was a shot that their defender turned across his own line.”

‘That would make it 18 for the season and keep me well ahead of Aaron Mclean! But seriously neither of us is worried who scores the goals as long as we win.’

What do you reckon?

Shall we give it to him or is he being just a little too cheeky?
