A possible outcome of our 4-0 reverse to Leicester City, at the weekend, and our subsequent slip to seventh place dropping further behind the automatic promotion places could be further doubts about the future of Craig Mackail-Smith.

With Posh having already dismissed talk of Craig leaving there`s nothing to say that several Championship clubs could try to plunder our striking talent come January.

Many will see this slight blip, our first loss in seventeen games, as god enough reason to test the waters. Here at Vital Posh we sincerely hope that such enquiries are given a polite but firm and resolute negative response.

For now is not the time to doubt our credentials as possible promotion hopes.
