Peterborough United have missed out on Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish.

Jack Grealish - Aston Villa & Notts County

Aston Villa`s Jack Grealish will sadly not be showing his talent on a regular basis at London Road.

Posh were rumoured to have had a bid for Grealish turned down but had hoped to arrange a loan deal for the midfielder but this has now been quashed after the 18-year-old extended his loan agreement at Notts County until the end of the season.

He was quick to thank all the clubs interested in him and explained his reasoning behind staying at County: “Happy to say I’ve signed on loan with Notts County until the end of the season. I thank a few other league 1 and championship clubs for the interest but I feel at the moment Notts County is the best place for my development. Hopefully we can kick on now and get up that table.”

  • You could always sort a loan deal out in the future but if he was sold to any league club myself and quite a few other Villa fans would not be happy with that at all.
