Posh Part Company With Ferguson?

According torumours sweeping the internet Posh have sacked Darren Ferguson.

Forgive them for they know not what they have done!

Not sure which of the Planet of the Apes films that immortal line come from but it sprang to mind after hearing that Posh and Darren Ferguson had parted company.

After leading Posh to back-to-back promotions Darren has struggled to ease Posh out of the bottom three in the Championship and has paid the ultimate price.

Despite warding off interest from other clubs with a new four year contract, in the summer, Darragh MacAntony has stuck his principles that it is a results game and, obviously, the results have not been what they were anticipated as being pre-season whereby hopes of a play-off place were high.

Whether Posh have made the correct decision remains to be seen and we currently have no idea as to who the replacement will be!
