Twelve players picked up votes for Septembers Vital Posh Player of the Month, but it was only two players that battled it out with one player eventually running out an easy winner.

GABRIEL ZAKUANI

Gabriel Zakuani (Peterborough United) beats Charlie Austin (Burnley)

Second place went to youngster Ryan BENNETT whose performances have earnt him a call-up to the England Under-21 squad and is expected to make his debut away at Norway. Bennett received 17% of the votes.

Third place was a tie between Mark LITTLE and Lee FRECKLINGTON with 7% each.
