There`s little doubt that Joe Lewis deservedly won our man-of-the-match poll following our 2-0 victory over Hereford United on Saturday.

The twenty-year old played a major part in us taking all three points and romped away with the voting with a massive 55% of the vote.

Joe, who hopes to get back into the England set-up, also received a glowing accolade form Darren Ferguson who enthused,

‘Joe suffered a loss of confidence earlier in the season and it is easy to forget that he is just 20 years old. A lot happened to him in the last year with his big money move to us and his call-up to the England squad, but I have never doubted his ability.”

‘He takes most things in his stride, he’s a quick learner and a hard trainer, but most importantly he has fantastic ability. He is going to be a top goalkeeper.’

Let`s all hope we can hang on to him then!
