Peterborough begin their Carling Cup challenge with a trip to Wycombe Wanderers tonight.
It is a tie that Posh are clear favourites to win and those that run the club will be keen to prevent Posh becoming one of the, probable, upsets that will happen in the first round toes this week.
However, playing against a lower league team gives Darren Ferguson plenty of opportunity to rotate his squad and there will be several changes to the starting eleven tonight.
Craig Morgan is away with the Welsh squad and therefore not available whilst Paul Coutts will be rested to give the knock he picked up at Derby, on Saturday, time to rest.
With regards to the vacancy left by Coutts it`s expected that either of the new signings Diagouraga or Frecklington will fill in.
Elsewhere, Darren has already confirmed that Krystian Pearce will start whilst our hosts will be hoping to get a glimpse of their former favourite, Sergio Torres, we fear they may be disappointed as we can`t see Darren retracting his vow that none of those twelve listed have a Posh future.
In the opposition defence will be a certain Chris Westwood who left London Road for Wycombe in the summer. Hopefully Chris will have a good game but not too good and please don`t crock any of our forwards mate!
All in all it should be an entertaining tie!
