Posh – Real Reason Behind the Return of Wright?

Reports coming in yesterday confirmed that the new Peterborough manager, Gary Johnson, had recalled Ben Wright from Barnet.

Wright, a striker who was signed last season was supposed to be at Underhill until April 20th but has been recalled, supposedly, so that Johnson can assess his capabilities.

Touted as something special when he arrived at London Road, from non-league football last season, Wright has only made three appearances, all from the substitutes` bench, for Barnet and has failed to trouble the scorers.

Here at Vital Posh we suspect another reason he was recalled was that it may well have been deemed not to have been a suitable loan arrangement if his time on the pitch was proving to be so limited.

Or are we just being churlish?
