Peterborough United have today released the squad numbers for the forthcoming season.

The majority of players have retained their number from last season while all the players on the transfer list have been given a squad number.

New signing Jack Payne has been given the number eight shirt while the number nine shirt has been left vacant for the replacement of Dwight Gayle.

All the promising youngsters have been given squad numbers as they will be given a run-out throughout the season.

The squad numbers are:

Tommy Rowe will again captain the side despite being on the transfer list.

Posh host former Premiership side QPR tomorrow [Saturday] with most of the players expecting a run out wearing their 2013/14 squad number.
