Peterborough United have issued the squad numbers for the forthcoming season.

Squad numbers released

As usual, the majority of players have retained their squad number but the most notable change is that of striker Conor Washington who now wears the recently vacated number 14 shirt. Former captain Tommy Rowe was the holder of that shirt but he has now moved on to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Of the newcomers, Jon Taylor will wear the number 7 shirt while Erhun Oztumer will wear number 10. Returnee Gaby Zakuani will wear the number 25 shirt after his shirt was taken over by Jack Baldwin last season.

The number 2 shirt remains vacant as Posh seek to fill the vacant right-back slot while all the transfer listed players have been given a squad number.
