This time tomorrow, some 4000+ Posh supporters will be making the journey to West Bromwich Albion.

Each and every one of them will be dreaming of a Posh victory and a chance to be in the hat for the forth round draw. However, if we can do something we failed to do on two occasions last season, it`ll be a fantastic achievement.

Although West Brom occupy bottom place in the Premier League, they`re no mugs, Tony Mowbray`s side re quite capable of playing attractive, penetrating football.

Therefore, it comes as no surprise to hear Darren Ferguson suggest that a victory against West Brom would become one of the greatest achievements in our short history.

Speaking to the local media, Darren remarked,

‘It’s a cliche, but it’s also a fact that we will have to be at our best and they will have to have an off day.”

‘It’s going to take a superb performance from us to pull it off, but the players are up for it, they are confident and they’re looking foward to the challenge.”

‘We’ve had a superb 12 months, but we need to raise our game even further to get a result tomorrow. Premier League teams don’t lose at home to League One sides very often so if we can get a result it would be right up there among the best ever.”

Shades of London Road and that dramatic 2-1 victory over Arsenal in 1965 anyone?
