Posh Sign a Seagull!

It`s strange how managers tend to stick with the tried and trusted.

Since Jim Gannon took over at London Road the fortunes of Tommy Rowe have improved.

The player, who played under Gannon at Stockport, has found himself selected for first team action on a regular basis.

Well it now seems that Jim has again gone for a player who could fall into the ‘better the devil you know` category in signing the Brighton striker, Liam Dickinson.

Dickinson also played under Gannon at Stockport County and has joined Posh on loan for the remainder of the season.

Dickinson, at just twenty-four years of age, will have fierce competition for a place in our forward line but sees the move as the ideal opportunity to get his scoring form back and speaking to the local radio station has remarked,

‘I haven’t been playing regularly at Brighton so it’s great to have the chance to play regularly.”

‘I worked with Jim Gannon for two and a half years at Stockport and we’ve kept in touch since.’

Commenting on a recent spell at Derby he added,

“It didn’t really work out at Derby so I spent time out on loan and then joined Brighton in the summer.”

‘The season started off well, but it’s all dried up a little bit so I’m just looking to get my form back and help Posh out at the same time.’

Well let`s hope he gets exactly what he wishes, that way we`ll all benefit.
