Posh – Snakes and Ladders?

After the disappointment of the crushing defeat up at the Keepmoat Stadium on Tuesday evening Posh need to address their perilous league position with a result at home to Scunthorpe on Saturday.

Anything other than a win will leave Darren Ferguson and his side contemplating a meagre return of one win from fourteen Championship games, a certain recipe for relegation.

Already Darren Ferguson has suggested that Posh are heading for a dog-fight and now must be the time to bare our teeth and fight our way out of this mess.

Our tendency to concede goals in quick succession needs to be ironed out and certain players need to look at their concentration levels with a view to improvement.

After the pre-season bluster whereby it was muted that we`d be chasing a play-off place we`re now in distinct danger of being dumped on our backsides back in League One or as a friend described it – up two ladders and then suckered by a snake!
