Posh – Spot the Away Supporter Competition!

There`s a danger tonight that the expected crowd at London Road could fail to match expectations.

With the game possibly being crucial in the fight for an automatic promotion place from League One, with both sides knowing a victory would benefit them, there could be a few spaces tonight, especially in the away end.

The tabloids, this morning, carry a rant from Barry Fry that suggests that our opponents tonight, MK Dons, have only sold 700 tickets for the clash, with Fry remarking,

“It`s a disgrace – and, given they have average home crowds of 10,000 or so, almost unbelievable.”

“We took 4,000 over to their place earlier in the season.”

However, I`d exercise a word of caution as surfing the net last night I did notice, on the official MK Dons site, that they were experiencing ticket sales problems of a technical nature.

Perhaps thousands will turn up on the night but hopefully not delaying the kick-off like last week when West Bromwich Albion were in town.
