Last season, heralded by a bit of a fanfare, Darren Ferguson signed the Hampton and Richmond striker, Ben Wright.

He was touted as being the next, off a long list of players that Ferguson had plucked from non-league and turned into more than competent professionals.

Sadly, despite impressing early on, Wright hasn`t had much chance to show what he can do and has already been off on loan spells to non-league sides, Kettering and Luton.

With the loan window having closed yesterday (Thursday) Wright is off on his travels again and has gone to Grimsby Town, on loan, until January.

Reports suggest the twenty-four year old striker will go straight into their first team this weekend.

We, here at Vital Posh, wish him well.
