After recognizing, due to the fact we had four defenders on the bench against Barnsley, that we need more attacking options, Darren Ferguson has been busy.

It would appear that Posh are close to securing a deal that would bring, on loan, a Football League striker to London Road.

Apparently, Darren Ferguson is awaiting a decision from the player but also has a standby target if this deal fails to materialize.

Speaking to the local media, Darren remarked,

‘I had hoped to have it sorted by now but we are in the position of waiting on the player – hopefully it will go through today.

‘There is another player I could get in but at the moment I am concentrating on the main target.’

Once again, we have no inkling of who the player is!

Have you?
