With Gabriel Zakuani ready to defy pain and play through the pain barrier his spirit was to be admired.
Unfortunately, nobody mentioned this to Mrs Zakuani who went into labour shortly before the fixture at Brisbane Road prompting hubby to depart sharply to be by her side.
