The next position has been decided to find out which players were best in what position for Posh in the 2011/12 season. The top of the midfield diamond position has been decided and the winner was…

8. Lee Tomlin

Some people may complain about his physique but there is something special about Lee Tomlin. He is very skilful and can not only pick out a deadly pass but also score his fair share of goals.

The 23-year-old scored his first professional hat-trick in the 7-1 demolition of Ipswich Town in front of the Sky Sports TV cameras. He also scored a memorable diving header against his hometown club Leicester City at the King Power Stadium to earn a share of the points.

If Tomlin can keep his temper in check and become more consistent, the forthcoming season should be an excellent one for both player and club.

The team now looks like:

The next position poll is now up and running with the results announced on Friday, 20th July, 2012.
