The older of our readers will recognise the title of this article as the title of a song by a singer called Yazz.

It was a disco hit some dozen or so years ago but it also accurately predicts the direction the club is heading on.

On the eve of our clash with Crew Alexandra, Joe Lewis has spoke about the future and implied that, with the young side we`ve got, the future looks very bright.

Chatting to a local paper, this is what he had to say,

‘The majority of us are young players who will only get better with the more games we play.

‘They say a footballer is at the peak of his powers in his mid-to-late 20s so there is hardly anyone at this club who is the finished article yet and that’s why I think there is a lot more to come from what is a very young team.’

‘It has taken a while to find the consistency required defensively this season but I feel we are there now and the clean sheets in the past two games have been very pleasing.’

‘I haven’t had a lot to do in either game and that’s the way I like it!’

Although we`d obviously like to add that what you have had to do Joe, you`ve done exceedingly well as Mr Kipling might say.
