Andrew Crofts, currently on loan from Gillingham and also celebrating the recent birth of a son (December 22nd), is waiting to hear if Posh are to extend his loan spell at London Road.

His current deal expires at the end of January and the Welsh international, obviously, doesn`t want to be left in limbo.

However, he can take heart from the fact that Barry Fry recently commented that,

‘There is an arrangement in place that will allow us to extend the loan. We can have him on a free transfer but I think we will keep the loan going for this season.’

Clearly, if he is available on a free transfer, we suspect that a final decision whether to make him a permanent Posh player has yet to be reached.
