Posh – Two Cup Tied?

One of the downsides of making that leap from non-league football to life at London Road relates to the problem of being cup tied.

As we contemplate going to White Hart Lane this weekend, both Exodus Geohaghan and Josh Bennett can only watch on from the sidelines.

Exodus played for Kettering Town in a previous round whilst Josh played for Histon.

For Josh, our two goal hero from Saturday, it is particularly disappointing as his family are die-hard Spurs fans and he`d love to have played to ruin their FA Cup hopes, or as Josh puts it,

‘Me and my family are all massive Spurs fans so it’s horrible that playing for Histon in a previous round at Hinckley has made me ineligible for Saturday! And we lost.

‘It’s also disappointing that as soon as I make an impact I can’t play in the next game, but the lads are buzzing after that fight-back and we are ready to take on anyone.’

Can we win at White Hart Lane?

Off course we can, just forget that Wigan conceded 9 and we`ll be fine!
