Our long serving goalkeeper, Mark Tyler, has spoken about how he feels about leaving Posh after making in excess of 400 games.

Tyler, one of the twelve placed on the surplus to requirements list, has lost his place to record signing Joe Lewis and has seen young James McKeown overtake him in the pecking order as well.

Seemingly, Tyler at thirty-two years of age, is keen to play regular first team football and told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire,

‘There’s been a bit of interest so we’ll have to wait and see.

‘I want to play football now, so it’s down to me and the club to sort it out. We’ll see what happens in the summer.’

‘I went to Bury on loan earlier in the year and it whetted my appetite for playing again.’

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to wish Mark every success in finding another club.
