Posh welcome back former striker Tom Nichols on Saturday when Bristol Rovers are the visitors to the ABAX Stadium.
Both sides are hoping to make a late charge to the play-offs although Rovers have a massive task to do that as they are seven points away from sixth place! Posh are just one point and one place outside the play-offs but they have a game in hand on Scunthorpe United who currently occupy 5th place and are just two points ahead of Posh.
At the weekend, Posh lost their first match in eight outings when going down to a disappointing two-one defeat at Oxford United but they had won their previous three matches.
Rovers also suffered defeat last Saturday when losing a two-one half-time lead to lose three-two at Plymouth Argyle, who in turn leapfrogged Posh into sixth place in League One.
Earlier in the season, Posh cruised to a comfortable four-one victory against Rovers with goals from Steven Taylor, his first for the club, and a hat-trick for Jack Marriott.
Can Posh repeat that victory and give Evans a third win in four matches since taking over the managerial reins or will the Pirates gain revenge for that early season defeat?
