What do you think the score will be in the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough United and Rochdale on Saturday?
Peterborough United v Rochdale
Location: ABAX Stadium
Date: Saturday, 14th April, 2018
Kick-off: 15:00pm
After last weekends horror show at Plymouth Argyle that saw two Posh players sent off and losing the match to a 92nd minute penalty, they will go into this weekends match against relegation threatened Rochdale with the news that one of those red cards has correctly been overturned.
Had both those red cards remained in force, then Posh would`ve been struggling to field a fit back four!
That defeat at play-off rivals Plymouth put a massive dent in the chances of Posh making the play-offs with just five matches of the regular season remaining but if they are to keep their chances alive then they must not only remain unbeaten but to go on a winning run starting with visitors Rochdale. Posh have only won four of their last twelve matches though so it is a tall ask to achieve five wins on the bounce!
Dale are in the bottom four but they are just a point from safety. They have had a mini run of good results lately with draws at Scunthorpe United (1-1) and against Portsmouth (3-3) while beating Shrewsbury Town (3-1) and Bury (2-0). They suffered defeat last night though as they went down to Wigan Athletic.
Earlier in the season, Posh slipped to a two-nil defeat at Spotland with two goals coming in a three minute spell just after the half an hour mark. It was a match that marked Dale manager Keith Hill`s 500th match in charge of Dale.
Can Posh go on that winning run by beating Dale on Saturday or will Dale drag themselves out of the relegation places with a double over Posh?
