Last week we reported that after the sudden departure of our goalkeeping coach, Andy Dibble, our two keepers, Joe Lewis and James McKeown had been packed off to Manchester United to train with them.

No doubt the experience, courtesy of Darren`s dad, the under-fire Sir Alex, would have done them good.

However, according to reports, Posh have now secured the services of a replacement goalkeeping coach in the shape of Darren Ward.

Darren was capped five times by Wales and played for Sunderland, Notts County and Nottingham Forest.

Here at Vital Posh we`d like to welcome him to our fine club and hope he enjoys his new post.
