As the dust settles on another game, the general consensus of opinion is that we were unlucky whilst MK Dons must have traveled back to Buckinghamshire with wide smile son their faces.

How we didn`t win I`ll never know. Other days we`ll play a lot worse than that and register a 2-0 win no problem.

After the match, talking to the media, Darren Ferguson re-iterated those thoughts commenting,
‘My players were magnificent and thoroughly deserved to win. I can’t have any complaints as there were some great individual displays.”

‘We played at a terrific tempo throughout, but we just didn’t get that bit of luck in front of goal that you need to win these tight games.”

‘Unfortunately it didn’t arrive, but we were also denied a blatant penalty.”

‘I checked the match video and the ball has clearly struck their player’s arm about two yards from the line.”

‘The referee is six yards away and yet doesn’t give it. If he does they are down to 10 men, we have a penalty and we probably win the game.”

‘And that would have been justice. There was only one team trying to play football and win the game.’

I don`t think anyone will argue with those thoughts will they?
