After spending time on loan at Queens Park Rangers, Tommy Williams has returned to London Road.

Earlier this week it had been suggested that the new Queens Park Rangers boss, Paul Hart, was keen to discuss a permanent deal for the defender.

It transpires now that Hart didn`t believe that Williams had the class to be in contention for a place at Loftus Road, especially as the club chase their dream of promotion backed by their multi-millionaire owners.

It`ll be interesting to see whether Williams can force his way into the plans of Mark Cooper or whether he`ll be moved on during the January transfer window.

  • I can’t see him featuring in Cooper’s plans, my guess is that he’ll be moved on, shame really cos I’d give his wife one (given the chance)!
