With Mark Cooper intent, seemingly, on changing the physical nature of our strike force, one leading red-top has a piece of transfer gossip for your dissection.

If correct it implies that Aaron Mclean will be sacrificed this transfer window (in stark contrast to what Darragh MacAnthony has pledged recently) and that some of the funds received, from a club unknown, will be use dot lure the Crewe Alexandra striker, Calvin Zola to London Road.

However, whilst this site editor in particular may be aghast at any thought of Mclean being sacrificed my heart has missed too many beats, especially when the aforementioned red-top quotes Zola as being available for £250,000!

Wouldn`t you expect to may a little more than that for a striker that has started t score with regular monotony?
