What did you think to referee Robert Jones`s performance in the Emirates FA Cup third round match between Aston Villa and Peterborough United?
Referee Robert Jones may be in his second season as a Football League official but he was much better than a lot of officials we`ve had this season.
He did give a reasonable amount of freekicks but he was very fair although one of our Villa friends thought he was “awful” and “that he seemed to know Posh players very well”!! Seeing as this was the first time Jones has officiated either Posh or Villa, that was very unlikely!
Just one yellow card was shown during the game which went to Posh`s Leo Da Silva Lopes.
What did you think to the referees performance?
