The man in charge of Tuesdays npower Championship match between Peterborough United and Millwall is GEOFF ELTRINGHAM.



The Sunderland based referee is now in his fourth year on the National Referees List and it will be the fourth time he has refereed a Posh game but the first time he has been in charge of Millwall.

Two of those three games he has refereed Posh were this season – the impressive 1-1 draw away at Middlesbrough on New Years Eve and the 1-0 home defeat by Hull City earlier in the season which saw former Posh striker Aaron McLean score the only goal of the game.

In the Boro` game, he issued 3 yellow cards while 4 were issued in the Hull game. The only other game he has refereed Posh was last season when Posh beat Sheffield Wednesday 5-3 at London Road.

Eltringham has refereed a variety of games this season including Championship games, League One, League Two and Cup matches.

He has refereed 29 games this season and has issued 68 yellow cards and 4 red cards. Of the 29 games, 9 were Championship games.
