The man in charge of the FA Cup Second Round match between Woking and Peterborough United is CHRISTOPHER SARGINSON.

A familiar face will take charge of Posh`s FA Cup match on Sunday with the clash at Woking being the 13th Posh match Chris Sarginson has taken charge of in his career!

Many Posh fans will remember the last Posh match he took charge of as it came towards the end of September when Wigan Athletic were the opposition at the ABAX Stadium. The Latics took the lead just after the half-hour mark when Posh central defender Steven Taylor scored an own goal but two Junior Morias goals in the second half swung the game in Posh`s favour with the second coming six muntes from time. That wasn`t the end of the scoring though as the Latics thought they`d earned themselves a draw by leveling things with 87 minutes on the clock however Jack Marriott had the last laugh as he netted the winner for Posh in the final minute of the game. Five yellow cards were dished out in that game with two going to Posh players.

The Posh match prior to that was also eventful as it saw three players head for an early shower! The clash last February saw Posh and Rochdale receive three yellow cards each during the three-one victory for Posh. Before any red cards were shown in the match, three goals in four minutes were scored with the first one by Posh captain Jack Baldwin. Tom Nichols added a second two minutes later before Dale reduced the arrears.

On the stroke of half-time, the visitors were reduced to 10-men when Joseph Rafferty received a second yellow card. Just seven minutes into the second half and Dale were down to 9-man after Donal McDermott received a straight red card. Baldwin also took an early shower 10 minutes before the end of the match after he also picked up his second yellow card. Posh wrapped up the scoring four minutes later when Paul Taylor scored.

Woking will be having Sarginson officiate them for the first ever time.

So far this season, Sarginson has officiated 20 matches issuing 63 yellow cards and 5 red cards.

The last match Sarginson officiated was a week last Tuesday when Luton Town hosted Carlisle United. The hatters won three-nil while they picked up two of the five yellow cards shown during the game.

Sarginson officiated a match in the first round of the FA Cup at Borehamwood. The National League side caused an upset by beating Blackpool two-one despite going a goal behind. Three yellow cards were issued during the match with just one going to the visiting Tangerines.

The assistant referees for the Cardinals v Posh clash are Adam Crysell and Ben Cobb. The fourth official is Lee Venamore.
