The door marked ‘out’ on London Road is getting through plenty of work at the moment.

The latest player who is opting to leave POSH is full back Tim Ryan.

Ryan joined earlier this year from Doncaster and was arguably the best player for the club during their unsuccessful run-in, but the lack of a managerial appointment has left him on the verge of signing a contract with Boston.

POSH Director of Football Barry Fry cannot afford to appoint a manager until July therefore the clubs out of contract players have a long wait before knowing if they have a future.

David Farrell, due a testomonial is the highest profile player to say he isnt waiting around.

And it isn’t just players leaving that is causing Fry headaches. An attempt to resign midfielder Matthew Gill from Conference side Exeter has failed after the player chose to stay in the non-leagues.
