Sheffield United -Vs- Peterborough United
Venue: Bramall Lane
Date: Saturday, 17th September, 2016
Kick-off: 15:00pm

Posh may be unbeaten in their last three League matches but their last two matches, both of which were at the ABAX Stadium, finished two-all so they will be hoping to get back to winning ways.

It won`t be an easy task though as they come up against a Sheffield United side who, although they started off slowly, have now won their last three matches. In fact, they`ve only lost one League match in their last six matches which was a narrow 2-1 defeat at Millwall.

The Blades, who sit in 12th place with 10 points, have had mixed results at home this season with one win, one draw and one defeat. Their last home League match ended in a two-one victory over Oxford United. The Yellows actually took the lead and it took two second half goals to turn the game around.

Posh only have one point more than the Blades but they occupy the final play-off place. Away from home, they`ve won two and lost one of their League matches. Their last away match ended with their one and only clean sheet of the season as they outplayed MK Dons to come away with a two-nil victory.

Martin Samuelsen scores after a mazy run v Sheffield United

The last time Posh played at Bramall Lane was on the first weekend of this year. Conor Washington opened the scoring for Posh after 18 minutes but the Blades levelled things through a Billy Sharp penalty just after the half-an-hour mark. The diminutive Erhun Oztumer restored the lead for Posh three minutes after the break before two goals in 60 seconds just six minutes from time completed the scoring.

Posh central defender Jack Baldwin scored an own goal to make it two-all but just as the Blades thought they`d snatched a point, West Ham United loanee Martin Samuelsen [pictured above] scored the winner for Posh after going on a mazy run.
