Handily placed in the Blue Square Premier League, with a possible automatic promotion place up for grabs, Stevenage Borough could also be about to get a substantial financial pay-off.

With George Boyd poised to leave London Road with the City Ground, Nottingham, the current preferred destination, Stevenage have been alerted to the fact that Boyd is on the move and they are entitled to their share of any fee courtesy of the sell-on clause they exerted in the sale when Boyd moved from Stevenage to Peterborough.

The local Hertfordshire media are quoting that the percentage may be as high as 40%, a substantial percentage we might add and a substantial amount considering we`d be looking to invest any fee received in re-structuring the team.

It looks like a good bit of business by the Hertfordshire club does it not!
