Stevenage have knocked backed Peterborough United’s offer for midfielders Michael Bostwick and Lawrie Wilson

It is believed Stevenage are holding out for an offer near the £1 million mark for the duo.

Posh are in the market for more midfielders to bolster their ranks in time for the forthcoming season and are keen to wrap up any new arrivals before the team head off to Portugal on Monday.

Both players have attracted interest from a number of teams but it’s Posh that have made the first move for the pair, while Charlton are believed to have had an offer for Wilson accepted by Boro.

Both players have been at Boro for over 4 years and have both played about 150 games each for the club.

With the interest generated following the clubs rise from non-League to League One, it looks like it may be the end of the road for the pair as they look to enhance their career with a move to the Championship.
